2012 Calendar of Events

The 2012 schedule is still being finalized, so consider this somewhat tentative.

Boon Manikitivipart Videos. This meeting may be held off-site. See the January newsletter for location information.

Feb. 26, 2 p.m.

March 25, 2 p.m.
Bonsai Circus. (Simultaneous workshops and demos on all sorts of subjects). This program includes beginner basics, but always has eye-opening demos for experienced members too.

April 29, 2 p.m.
Focus on Advanced Techniques. 3 demonstrators will show must-see techniques used by bonsai experts. Beginners can learn a lot from these techniques too.

May 20*, 2 p.m.

June 23-24, All Weekend Long
ANNUAL SHOW. Our once-a-year, not-to-be-missed event! Don't miss our exhibit of bonsai owned by club members, raffles, as well as bonsai, tools, pots and supplies for sale.

July 29, 2 p.m.
Mentor Workshop.

Aug. 26, Noon.
Bonsai Auction and Pot Luck Lunch. A great opportunity to acquire everything from high-quality bonsai to low-cost bonsai stock plants, pots and tools. (Lunch begins at noon. Bring a dish to pass. Auction begins at 1 p.m. If you have items to sell, check-in begins at 11 a.m. See the August newsletter for important details.)

Sept. 30, 2 p.m.
Focus on Beginning Techniques. 3 demonstrators will show must-see techniques for bonsai beginners. For experienced members, treat this as a BYO (bring-your-own) workshop.
